about me

Hi, I’m Katie, a Registered Nurse in British Columbia with over a decade of experience supporting seniors and their families through the complexities of aging, health care, and independence.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from SFU in 2011 and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UBC in 2014. Since then I’ve worked in community nursing, helping people manage chronic conditions, make informed care decisions, understand changing health needs, and access the right supports at the right time. Much of my career has centered on exactly what I offer now: providing clear guidance, practical planning, and compassionate support when families need it most.

I was born and raised in Vancouver, and I bring a warm, approachable style to my work while grounding everything I do in professional nursing standards, ethics, and evidence-based practice. Families often tell me they appreciate having someone who can translate medical information, offer steady direction, and help them feel less overwhelmed by a system that can be difficult to navigate alone.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at a playground with my two young daughters, stitching away at an embroidery project, or happily greeting every dog I pass.

Thank you for being here. I’d be honoured to support you and your loved ones with clarity, compassion, and confidence as you navigate the journey of aging.
